Last weekend’s first round of playoff contests was a mixed bag. We had some stinkers and a decent game or two. Let’s hope this week’s Divisional Round is more entertaining!

Former Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy is garnering interest from multiple teams after he ‘parted ways’ with the Cowboys after five years at the helm. What’s a bit baffling is that he’s leaving due to a failed contract renegotiation, not because he did a bad job. So why the dog and pony show, Jerry?

Speaking of Jerry Jones, the Cowboys appear to have no interviews lined up and the owner is going about it solo, according to NFL Network’s Jane Slater. Good luck with that.

In case you missed this from last weekend, New England hired Mike Vrabel as the 16th HC in the Patriots’ franchise history. It seems like the perfect fit, but of course, we have to see how it plays out.
