Top Cash Game Values and GPP Contrarian Plays for Week 15

Together with GameBlazers: The Next Generation of Fantasy Sports

The Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter is now coming to your inbox seven days a week throughout the NFL season! In this Saturday edition, weā€™ll cover the top DFS values and contrarian plays for Week 15, and of course the happenings over at 4for4.

Using 4for4ā€™s powerful DFS Value Reports, Iā€™ll highlight the top DFS value plays at each position.

Week 15 Value Plays

šŸ QB Matthew Stafford ($7,200 FD/$6,000 DK)

Only two quarterbacks have scored more fantasy points than Matthew Stafford over the last three weeksā€”now the Rams get the easiest quarterback matchup according to schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed. Washington has given up multiple passing touchdowns in 10 games this year, including each of the last four, while allowing six quarterbacks to throw for over 300 yards. LAā€™s 28.5-point total is the second-highest on the slate. Stafford is 4for4ā€™s top quarterback value on DraftKings.

ā¤ RB Ezekiel Elliott ($6,500 FD/$5,800 DK)

Zeke has 20+ touches in each of the last two weeks, handling 100% of New Englandā€™s backfield work in Week 14. Contributing to Elliottā€™s high touch total is the fact that he has been targeted on at least 20% of passes in consecutive weeks. While his target share may drop if Demario Douglas is active, the Patriots should keep Elliott heavily involved regardless of the score.

šŸ§€ WR Jayden Reed ($6,100 FD/$4,900 DK)

Christian Watson is out again in Week 15 and Jayden Reed is in line to handle number-one target duties again after seeing a 26% target share with Watson out last weekā€”it was the second time in three games where Reed was targeted on at least a quarter of the Packersā€™ throws. Green Bay faces one of the biggest pass funnel defenses in footballā€”Tampa Bay allows the fourth-fewest schedule-adjusted points to running backs but ranks in the bottom four against quarterbacks and wide receivers.

šŸ¦ TE Trey McBride ($6,600 FD/$5,200 DK)

Regardless of who has been active around Trey McBride, the Cardinals' tight end has been arguably the most consistent player at his position this year. McBride has averaged 8.5 targets per game in Kyler Murrayā€™s four starts this year and Arizona may be forced to throw more than usual as 12-point underdogs.

Week 15 Contrarian Plays

Every week, 4for4 produces some of the most accurate DFS ownership projections in the industry. Using this ownership as a guide can point us to the best contrarian options to use in GPPs on both FanDuel and DraftKings.

āQB Dak Prescott ($8,600 FD/$8,000 DK)

The Cowboys game has the highest total on the slate (50.5) but if GPP players pay up for quarterbacks, it will most likely be for Josh Allen, while Dak draws single-digit ownership. Since their bye week, Dallas ranks top three in passing rate over expectation, pass EPA per play, and explosive pass rate. The Bills rank outside the top 20 in schedule-adjusted points allowed to quarterbacks.

šŸ–¤ RB Bijan Robinson ($8,600 FD/$6,800 DK)

Massive running back chalk will be absorbed by Ezekiel Elliott, Kyren Williams, and Christian McCaffrey but there are plenty of running backs that have comparable ceilings this week, Bijan Robinson being one. Robinson has found the end zone in three of his last four games and faces a Panthers defense ranked 25th in schedule-adjusted points allowed to running backs.

šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø WR Mike Evans ($8,300 FD/$7,500 DK)

Multiple players in this game should see high ownership, including pass-catchers on Green Bay and Rachaad White for Tampa Bay. That makes Mike Evans a huge leverage play against the chalk in this game while he doubles as a price pivot off of Rams and 49ers wide receivers who should be popular as well.

ā› TE George Kittle ($6,800 FD/$5,800 DK)

The 49ers have the highest team total on the slate (30.25) but Kittle may be an afterthought with heavy ownership on McCaffrey and moderate ownership going to Deeba Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. Trey McBride is priced similar to Kittle in the same game but may draw 3ā€“4 times more ownership.
