Top Cash Game Values and GPP Contrarian Plays for Week 13

The Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter is now coming to your inbox seven days a week throughout the NFL season! In this Saturday edition, weā€™ll cover the top DFS values and contrarian plays for Week 13, and of course the happenings over at 4for4.

Using 4for4ā€™s powerful DFS Value Reports, Iā€™ll highlight the top DFS value plays at each position.

Week 13 Value Plays

ā› QB Brock Purdy ($7,800 FD/$6,100 DK)

Brock Purdy is the only quarterback that 4for4 ranks as a top-three positional value on both sitesā€”he is the best quarterback value on DraftKings. While the 49ers offense leans toward the run, the Eagles are one of the biggest pass-funnel defenses in the league. Philadelphia allows the fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points to running backs but the third-most to quarterbacks. As three-point favorites, the 49ers have a 25.25-point team total in the game with the second-highest total on the slate (48.0).

šŸ“ RB Zack Moss ($5,600 FD/$4,600 DK)

Jonathan Taylorā€™s injury was confirmed after Week 13 pricing was released, allowing Zack Moss to become the best value on the slate. The Colts run at the eighth-highest rate over expectation and before Taylor returned in Week 5, Moss was among the league leaders in touch share. Indianapolis is a slight favorite against a Titans defense ranked 20th in schedule-adjusted points allowed to running backs.

šŸ¬ WR Tyreek Hill ($10,000 FD/$9,600 DK)

Tyreek Hill always projects as a top value but in this matchup, he is a cash game priority, even at his inflated salary. Washington has given up the most schedule-adjusted points to quarterbacks and wide receivers and their defense sets up particularly well for Hill.

šŸ® TE Brevin Jordan ($4,300 FD/$2,500 DK)

Dalton Schultz has been ruled out for Sunday, allowing Brevin Jordan to be the punt tight end play of the week. Jordan will step into a role that highlighted Schultz as a top DFS breakout play this week, propped up by the efficient play from C.J. Stroud of late. In addition to Schultz being out, Noah Brown and Tank Dell are also listed as questionable.

Week 13 Contrarian Plays

Every week, 4for4 produces some of the most accurate DFS ownership projections in the industry. Using this ownership as a guide can point us to the best contrarian options to use in GPPs on both FanDuel and DraftKings.

šŸŸ”āš« QB Kenny Pickett ($6,700 FD/$5,100 DK)

In a week where studs-and-duds builds will be popular, paying down for Kenny Pickett will take that roster construction to the extreme. In Pickettā€™s first game without Matt Canada as the OC, he set season highs in yards and yards per attempt. Where most lineups will jam in two expensive players, Pickett may allow for three high-salary plays without giving up much ceiling.

šŸ¬ RB Deā€™Von Achane ($7,400 FD/$6,900 DK)

Miamiā€™s rookie running back is expected to return this week but will go largely ignored while most DFS players try to fit Tyreek Hill into their lineups. Achane has proven that he doesnā€™t need a high touch total to have a monster game and Washington allows the fourth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to running backs.

ā› WR Brandon Aiyuk ($8,000 FD/$7,200 DK)

While Brock Purdy will be one of the most popular quarterbacks on the slate, his pass-catchers typically cannibalize each otherā€™s ownership. Aiyuk is more expensive than his teammate, Deebo Samuel, on both sites meaning Samuel should draw higher ownership. 49ers pass-catchers also offer leverage off of Christian McCaffrey, who should be among the highest-rostered players on the slate.

šŸ¦ TE Sam LaPorta ($7,000 FD/$5,600 DK)

Not many lineups will spend up at tight end this week, making LaPorta a good way to flip the build in GPPs. The Lions tight end ranks near the top at his position in targets and yards per route run and this game has sneaky shootout potential, especially if Chris Olave is active.
