While it’s only the first week of the NFL season, some of you may not be thrilled with how your roster shaped up after the draft. Perhaps you got sniped and panic-picked, or a few too many adult beverages got in the way of players you wanted. Here are a few options that are likely still on the waiver wire in your league post-draft.

🐬 Jaylen Wright RB, Dolphins (23% rostered)

Wright is a crazy fast rookie in a potent offense. The Miami backfield produced two top-4 RBs in half-PPR scoring on a per-game basis last year and while it’s tough to know how the volume will shake out in the early part of the season, Wright is someone to grab now while they figure it out.

⛏️ Jordan Mason RB, 49ers (20% rostered) 

With Elijah Mitchell out for the season, Mason is now the RB2 in San Francisco behind Christian McCaffrey. He’s a lottery ticket worth buying in 12-team leagues.

🧀 Dontayvion Wicks WR, Packers (30% rostered)

The Packers have a plethora of talented young WRs, and Wicks was the last one off draft boards with as much of a chance to produce as all of them. He averaged 14.6 half-PPR points per game over the last three weeks of 2023 and could emerge as a star with any increase in volume.

🪺 Darnell Mooney WR, Falcons (17% rostered)

He’s likely third in the target pecking order behind Drake London and Kyle Pitts, but with Kirk Cousins under center, we could see fantasy relevance from Mooney in 2024. The 26-year-old is a nice bench stash in 3WR leagues and can be sent back to the wire if he’s not getting the targets.
