🏆 Fantasy Football Hardware

Conference Round Logistics & Dynasty Roundup

Four teams remain for the chance to hoist that elusive Lombardi Trophy. This weekend should be a fun one for NFL fans around the globe as the Chiefs head to Baltimore to face the Ravens, while the 49ers host the Lions, all this Sunday. In today’s newsletter, I go shopping for some fantasy football merch, plus we’ll hear from Ryan McDowell at DLF on some pertinent dynasty info.

Let’s talk fantasy football hardware. Now that the season is over it’s a great time to assess your leagues and maybe decide on some new prizes, trophies, or the like, along with the last-place stuff, too. I combed through the many options out there and wanted to highlight some of the best ones I found.

Rings

Trophy Smack offers a large variety of rings with bling levels to fit all fantasy football managers’ tastes. First, there’s this sparkler reminiscent of a real championship ring.

And also this multi-finger option leaves no doubt who came out on top.

Want a wedding band that shows off your fantasy football prowess? I found that, too on Etsy.

Trophies

Some leagues just use their old high school trophies and repurpose them for fantasy football, but there are so many fun and interesting options out there for those wanting that extra oomph.

This first one is a unique take on the armchair QB, or armchair football player thing and it’s inexpensive compared to many options out there. ($29.99). It can be found at K2 Awards along with many other interesting options.

Want your own version of a Stanley Cup-like trophy that allows you to savor your victory for an entire year? This quirky beer mug trophy is a great way to keep that championship alive through the offseason and it can be found at Fantasy Jocks.

If you’re looking for a hearty, really classically beautiful fantasy football trophy, this one from Trophy Smack is one of my favorites of that genre. It’s the Perpetual Fantasy Football Trophy in black with customizable colored columns.

Belts

Championship belts remind all your league mates who took the title in grand style and there are plenty out there to choose from.

This first one has a throwback feel to the era when helmets were either optional or leather, offering a nostalgic, less blingy aesthetic. The Brown Bomber Belt can be found at Fantasy Jocks.

The G.O.A.T is six pounds of solid metal and is fully customizable down to the strap color, finish, ribbon color across the front, and clip art options on the sides. It’s found at Trophy Smack.

Losers

Why give the traditional toilet brush when there are so many amazing options for the last-place team to have to hang onto for a year?

This toilet sculpture from Crown Awards is fully customizable with several looser-ish options and is very affordable starting at just $12.99.

This toilet seat is a fun way to humiliate the last-place finisher in any league. It’s an authentic, full-size seat that could come with having to actually use it if you want to really punish them throughout the year. It’s at Trophy Smack.

Trophy Smack also offers this not-so-subtle loser doormat. It comes in yellow or black and lets all your friends, neighbors, and even delivery folks know that you lost your league last season.

Welcome to DLF Roundup. Each week, Ryan McDowell brings you a quick look at some of the dynasty happenings taking place over at Dynasty League Football.

If you haven’t checked out DLF lately, you are missing a ton of 2024 rookie content. The current NFL season still has three games remaining, but dynasty players have already moved onto the upcoming rookie class. The NFL Combine takes place next month and then Pro Days and mock drafts will dominate the news cycle as we count down the 93 days until the NFL Draft.

We have nearly all of the top rookies covered in our “Early Look” series, including the most recent postings digging into the games of Oregon running back Bucky Irving and Washington receiver Ja’Lynn Polk

We even have a classic DLF piece from guest writer Travis May, Top-100 Dynasty Rookies for 2024. If you are not a college football fan and find yourself feeling a bit behind on this rookie class, this article is an excellent way to get you caught up.

Here’s what Travis had to say about Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, who is a fast riser according to early NFL mock drafts, and North Carolina’s Drake Maye. If we trust early reports, this duo will be battling it out to be the QB2 in the class and likely the second overall pick in the Draft…

Jayden Daniels rose from late-round pick to first round status thanks to his 100th percentile QV Modeling Composite season. He always had elite mobility, rushing for over 1000 yards in both 2022 and 2023, but Daniels took a huge leap in the deep passing game this season too. Daniels threw 22 touchdowns to zero interceptions on passes over 20 yards downfield in 2023. The upside is obviously tantalizing if he proves his Heisman campaign wasn’t a fluke.

Drake Maye is built more like your prototypical QB prospect (6’4”, 230 pounds), and put up absolutely bonkers numbers as a true sophomore. But he struggled for the first half of his junior year, throwing far too many interceptions, and taking more sacks than he needed to as well (sacked on about 20% of his pressures). The imperfect finish to his career leaves some questions, but he has all the physical tools to ball out and should still be a Top 5 pick.

Stick with DLF for the next few weeks and months and we’ll continue to churn out rookie content to help you crush your dynasty drafts.

Here are some of the latest articles to post on 4for4.com. There’s always something new so be sure to keep dropping by.
