Let’s get into some free agency remnants and dynasty info from DLF as rookie drafts are heating up!

Now that we’re over a week out from the NFL Draft and teams are assessing the holes left, we’ve seen a mild flurry of activity in the free agent department. Tyler Boyd (Titans), D.J. Chark (Chargers), Odell Beckham (Dolphins), and Boston Scott (Rams) have all found new homes since May 1st, and Zay Jones was also released from the Jaguars in that timeframe.

There are still some veteran names that can help NFL teams this season and some of them may find employment soon. Here’s a look at the best players still available at each fantasy-relevant position.

💪🏼 Quarterback

Ryan Tannehill - Tanny’s Spotrac market value is $7.7M and you’d think he could provide some depth and veteran leadership in someone’s locker room.

🏃🏾‍♂️ Running Back

Cam Akers - Recovering from his second torn Achilles in two seasons, Akers will have to fight to get back into the league at just 24 years old. He may be one to sign with a team mid-season after an injury depletes an RB room.

Kareem Hunt - Hunt played with a groin injury for a chunk of last season and had abductor surgery earlier this year. He should find work at some point as a complementary backfield piece.

🧤 Wide Receiver

Hunter Renfrow - He’s a slot guy who should be useful to an offense in need. With enough inside volume, Renfrow has had his moments as a fantasy asset.

Michael Thomas - At 31 years old with a laundry list of injuries, Thomas is still looking for work but could be of service in 2024 to a WR-deficient roster. Fantasy relevancy may be in his rearview mirror.
