😎 New Team Who Dis?

Plus OTA buzz and some news

Today’s Deep Dive Fantasy newsletter is brought to you by Fantasy Sports EVO!

This week I go through the best fantasy addition to each of the 32 NFL teams and showcase a few OTA hype tweets along with some news.

With OTAs and minicamps underway, former free agents, rookies, and even some traded players are getting their first workouts and practices in with their new teams. Here’s a look at the best fantasy-relevant addition to each NFL team this offseason and how to draft them.

*all ranks and ADP are for half-PPR scoring using 4for4’s ranks and multi-site ADP tool.

🪺 Arizona Cardinals - Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR)

Coming off back-to-back 1200+ yards with 14 touchdown seasons, MHJ adds another dimension to the Cardinal’s offense that's been missing since Larry Fitzgerald. 4for4 Rank: WR9 ADP: 14.5 WR9

🪺 Atlanta Falcons - Kirk Cousins (QB)

Despite the team also adding rookie Michael Penix during the draft, Cousins provides an immediate boost to the offense in both real and fantasy football. He’s stacked with weaponry and has the experience to get Atlanta to the next level. 4for4 Rank: QB 18 ADP: 127, QB18

🪺 Baltimore Ravens - Derrick Henry (RB)

Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson gets another dangerous weapon: an RB who has been in the top 2 in touches at his position in three of the last four years and ended as the RB4 or better in half-PPR points per game four of the last five seasons. 4for4 Rank: RB6 ADP: 26.5, RB8

🦬 Buffalo Bills - Keon Coleman (WR)

The Bills WR room is totally revamped as Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are gone and Curtis Samuel and rookie Keon Coleman are now in the mix. Coleman could become Josh Allen’s favorite perimeter weapon and he still carries a decent price tag. 4for4 Rank: WR47 ADP: 107.5, WR49

🐈‍⬛ Carolina Panthers - Diontae Johnson (WR)

Johnson is used to leading his team in targets and should continue that in Carolina. Last year Adam Thielen delivered a WR25 performance in half-PPR scoring and with any improvement from sophomore Bryce Young, Johnson’s floor is a fantasy WR3 with WR2 upside. 4for4 Rank: WR36 ADP: 80, WR39

*Rookie RB Jonathan Brooks is a very close second

🐻 Chicago Bears - Caleb Williams (QB)

There are several new additions here, but Williams is the key to making them all fantasy-relevant in 2024. He has the skill set to make an immediate impact and elevate the playmakers around him. 4for4 Rank: QB15 ADP: 104.5, QB16

🐯 Cincinnati Bengals - Jermaine Burton (WR)

Burton’s impact in the passing game for the Bengals has the potential to be significant, especially with Tee Higgins' future with the team uncertain. 4for4 Rank: WR72 ADP: 186, WR77

🐶 Cleveland Browns - Jerry Jeudy (WR)

The QB situation in Cleveland isn’t ideal after we saw two underwhelming seasons from DeShaun Watson, but at least there’s a new pass catcher in town. Jeudy gets a fresh start with the Browns and could be a solid tandem with Amari Cooper. 4for4 Rank: WR70 ADP: 134, WR54

🤠 Dallas Cowboys - Ezekiel Elliott (RB)

He’s back in Dallas after a one-year stint with the Patriots where he posted 642 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 184 attempts. He’ll likely get first crack at leading the backfield over Rico Dowdle barring some training camp heroics, with plenty of passing game work. 4for4 Rank: RB33 ADP: 113.5, RB38

🐴 Denver Broncos - Troy Frankin (WR)

The rookie gets footballs tossed his way from his college QB in an offense with limited playmakers in the pass-catching department. Currently a fantasy WR7 in half-PPR ADP, Franklin has the chance to outproduce in his first year in the NFL. 4for4 Rank: WR106 ADP: 180, WR80

🦁 Detroit Lions - NA

This team is still stacked with fantasy stars with no new key additions.

🧀 Green Bay Packers - Josh Jacobs (RB)

As the lead back in a young and exciting offense, Jacobs has a shot at fantasy RB1 numbers in Green Bay behind a better offensive line than he had in Vegas. The Packers also drafted MarShawn Lloyd who is one to watch for as well as the summer rolls on. 4for4 Rank: RB16 ADP: 30.5, RB11

🐂 Houston Texans - Stefon Diggs (WR) & Joe Mixon (RB)

It was tough to choose between these two players as they both should have an impact on both the Houston offense and fantasy rosters in 2024. Diggs is coming off a down end of last season and will have target competition from Nico Collins and Tank Dell, so should be considered a WR2. Mixon is set up for bellcow duty for the Texans with an RB2 designation in half-PPR formats. 4for4 Ranks: Diggs WR19, Mixon RB21 ADP: Diggs: 33.5, WR20 Mixon: 48, RB14

🧲 Indianapolis Colts - Adonai Mitchell (WR)

Likely third in line behind Michael Pittman and Josh Downs, Mitchell’s weekly production may be limited, making him more of a best ball target than redraft. 4for4 Rank: WR96 ADP: 142, WR61

🐆 Jacksonville Jaguars - Brian Thomas Jr. (WR)

They lost Calvin Ridley during free agency to the Titans but drafted Thomas and signed Gabe Davis. The rookie could lead the WR room if he and Trevor Lawrence gel quickly. 4for4 Rank: WR39 ADP: 90.5, WR47

↠ Kansas City Chiefs - Marquise Brown (WR)

Brown was seen at an NBA playoff game last weekend with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, which bodes well for his place in the offense. Of course, it could mean nothing but Brown’s speed and play-making abilities put him in a great spot considering they could be without Rashee Rice for several games. 4for4 Rank: WR35 ADP: 66.5, WR32

🏴‍☠️ Las Vegas Raiders - Brock Bowers (TE)

There’s an argument for Gardner Minshew being the most important add this offseason but he’s not guaranteed to win the starting role. Considering Bowers’ draft capital he’s guaranteed a substantial workload and could be second in targets behind Davante Adams. 4for4 Rank: TE12 ADP: 118, TE14

⚡️ Los Angeles Chargers - Ladd McConkey (WR)

Without veteran wideouts Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and rusher Austin Ekeler, there are plenty of snaps and targets up for grabs in L.A. 4for4 Rank: WR33 ADP: 80.5, WR45

🐏 Los Angeles Rams - Blake Corum (RB)

Kyren Williams is still there but Corum will likely find a role in this Sean McVay offense. 4for4 Rank: RB40 ADP: 126, RB 42

🐬 Miami Dolphins - Jalen Wright (RB)

Wright has plenty of upside in Miami but it will take an injury to DeVon Achane or Raheem Mostert for legitimate fantasy production. 4for4 Rank: RB75 ADP: 163, RB58

😈 Minnesota Vikings - Aaron Jones (RB)

Jones should lead the Vikings backfield this season as a fantasy RB2 with RB1 upside if he can remain healthy. 4for4 Rank: RB18 ADP: 63.5, RB18

🎖️ New England Patriots - Ja'Lynn Polk (WR)

This may prove to be rookie QB Drake Maye, but there’s no guarantee that he’ll be the starter in Week 1. The Pats lack star power on the perimeter and Polk has the potential to step right in and lead the charge. 4for4 Rank: WR67 ADP: 194, WR82

⚜️ New Orleans Saints - NA

No major fantasy-relevant additions this offseason

🧢 New York Giants - Malik Nabors (WR)

Nabors is the best WR prospect the Giants have seen in a while and will likely slide right in as their WR1. 4for4 Rank: WR24 ADP: 45.5, WR28

✈️ New York Jets - Mike Williams (WR)

The former Charger will likely come in as the immediate WR2 behind Garrett Wilson in an offense bound for improved QB play from Aaron Rodgers. 4for4 Rank: WR48 ADP: 112, WR48

🦅 Philadelphia Eagles - Saquon Barkley (RB)

Still very much an every-down back, Barkley should be in the fantasy RB1 conversation in his new home in Philly. 4for4 Rank: RB5 ADP: 15, RB5

🍔 Pittsburgh Steelers - Russell Wilson (QB)

Assuming he wins the starting gig over Justin Fields, Wilson is an upgrade for the Steelers’ fantasy pieces. 4for4 Rank: QB25 ADP: 212. QB29

⛏️ San Francisco 49ers - Ricky Pearsall (WR)

Pearsall will be limited in his first season, particularly if both Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk maintain their significant roles. He’ll be good for some best ball spike weeks. 4for4 Rank: WR58 ADP: 167, WR79

🌊 Seattle Seahawks - NA

Despite a new coaching staff, Seattle didn’t add any key fantasy pieces in 2024.

🏴‍☠️ Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Bucky Irving (RB)

Irving adds a new fun wrinkle to the Tampa backfield but shouldn’t be drafted as anything more than a handcuff in 2024. 4for4 Rank: RB52 ADP: 181, RB52

🛡️ Tennessee Titans - Calvin Ridley (WR)

The Titans added quite a few interesting weapons this offseason, with Ridley boasting the most star power. He’ll pair with DeAndre Hopkins on the outside and makes for a solid WR3 option. 4for4 Rank: WR34 ADP: 69.5, WR35

🪖 Washington Commanders - Jayden Daniels (QB)

The No. 2 overall pick should elevate this offense as the best signal caller they’ve had in at least a decade. Washington also added Austin Ekeler and Luke McCaffrey but Daniels should have the most impact on the fantasy realm. 4for4 Rank: QB12 ADP: 109, QB10

Fantasy Sports EVO Play of the Day

The Liberty Aces are a solid choice for the offense multiplier 1.5x spot in the WNBA Classic contest today. They lead the league in points per game with 91.3 and are second in assists with 21.5 per contest. With Fantasy Sports EVO taking away two points per turnover, the Aces have an edge as they commit the fewest turnovers in the WNBA, which is five fewer per game than any other team on today’s slate.

  • He’s not necessarily super jacked, but Rashod Bateman looks healthy and is one of those players who’s a crazy value right now if you still believe. Odell Beckham is gone, he signed a two-year extension back in April, and OC Todd Monken said he’s seen “tremendous growth” from the WR and that he expects him to see more volume. His 14th-round price is tempting if you can stomach the pick.

  • Evan Engram has had quite the transformation from what was considered a bust in New York for the first five seasons of his career to one of the most productive TEs in the NFL. He’s finished top 10 at his position in half-PPR points per game over the last two years and is primed for another solid campaign.

  • The Jets signed RB Tarik Cohen on Wednesday morning, who hasn’t been in the NFL since 2020. HC Robert Saleh cites the new kickoff rules as the impetus for the addition.

  • I’m loving this thread of NFL throwback uniforms and thought you may, too!
