We’re down to eight teams vying for the chance to hoist that Lombardi Trophy. Super Wild Card weekend certainly had some wild moments and now we have the Divisional Round to look forward to. We kick it off on Saturday with the Texans @ Ravens at 4:30 PM ET, followed by the Packers @ 49ers starting at 8:15 PM ET. There are two more contests on Sunday, beginning with the Buccaneers @ Lions at 3:00 PM ET, followed by the Chiefs @ Bills kicking off at 6:30 PM ET.

The coaching carousel continues to go round and round. Here’s a list of all coaches and staff who are no longer at their positions as of 1/16/24, along with those who have already been hired. • Rumors began to swirl that Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce announced his retirement following their wild-card loss to Tampa Bay on Monday, but Kelce has since said otherwise, shutting it down - at least for now.

  • On the New Heights Podcast that Kelce shares with his brother Travis, the center said “I don't know what next year's gonna look like, I didn't announce what I was doing on purpose, despite I guess what's been leaked to the media." The 36-year-old went on to say “I just don't think you're in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. I just don't," he shares. "There's too much emotion in the moment, there's too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision. I'm not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out. I'm really not. It's just something that I think, when it's time to officially announce what's happening in the future, it'll be done in a way that's definitive.”

  • According to a report by CNN, 69 people were treated by the fire department during the Chiefs/Dolphins game last Saturday, many for hypothermia symptoms. It was the fourth-coldest contest in NFL history boasting a kickoff temperature of -4 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill of -20 degrees. Also in the report, 15 of the fans were transported by the Kansas City Fire Department, seven for hypothermia symptoms, three for experiencing frostbite, and five more for other various reasons. I’m just guessing this guy was likely in the mix.
