🏃NFL Sunday Morning Rundown for Week 11

+ a 🦃Day Preview and more!

The Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter is now coming to your inbox seven days a week throughout the NFL season, and I, Ryan Noonan, have the honor of being your Sunday morning MC.

We’ll tackle start/sits, DFS, Survivor pool strategy, and a bit of betting as well.

Before we jump into things, I have to tell you about this deal that we have going on right now.

I technically oversee the betting content on 4for4, but I’ve been overruled by the powers that be, and we’re basically giving it away for free right now.

Since we’re in Week 10, a subscription is already massively discounted- 50%, to be exact.

Well, right now, you can use the promo code “BETS50” and the 50% deal gets cut by another 50%.

That’s for the betting subscription only, but that includes EVERYTHING AT 4for4. Maybe you can’t bet legally in your state, but our subscriber-only discord has channels for all the Pick’em games out there as well. The Discord also gives you access to our entire staff, along with a passionate and bright, like-minded community of football (and more) enthusiasts. It’s the crown jewel of your subscription, in my opinion. All the season-long and DFS content, tools, rankings, and projections are included as well.

It feels like the season is winding down, but we still have a long way to go when you consider the NFL playoff season goes until early February. Oh, and we cover NBA betting extensively as well, along with other sports, as you can see in the picture above.

Head to 4for4.com/plans and take advantage of the new “BETS50” promo code today!

I love this ‘Watchability’ index from our friends over at SumerSports. The ‘International Series’ is done, so you can sleep in. But if you’re reading this, you’re already awake. That’s just science. You can go back to sleep, though. I’ll allow it. Just wake up before Monday night’s Super Bowl rematch.

You can’t really stream running backs or wide receivers, but depending on your league’s size and settings, you can often stream quarterbacks, tight ends, and defenses. Out with the old, in with the new.

I was informed that in 2023, people still play in fantasy leagues with kickers (working to confirm this), but in the meantime, we also have kicker streaming options as well.

My 4for4 teammates cover that for you here.

Our resident projection and rankings alpha, John Paulsen, will bring you his favorite Sneaky Starts & Sleepers each week. He’s pretty good at the whole rankings and projections thing, so it’s worth your time.

If you’re new here, I want to let you in on a little secret.

Giving start/sit advice without context in a newsletter is my own private hell.

I don’t know your league size, scoring, or anything about you.

Despite that, I’m still going to give you a few names that are worth your attention this morning since today’s the day.

I think it’s important to note that I dished out some absolute bangers here last week, with Brock Purdy, Jaylen Warren, Noah Brown, and Trenton Irwin all popping off. You’re welcome.

Here are a few names that are start-worthy today:

Jordan Love (QB, Packers)

I get it. It’s uncomfortable. But no quarterback has more 20+ yard passing attempts than Jordan Love's 46, and this matchup against the Chargers is a perfect marriage for what appears to be Love's only redeemable skill set. The Chargers are giving up over 315 passing yards per game and have allowed the third-highest explosive pass rate in the league.

De’Von Achane (RB, Dolphins)

You can’t keep this kid on the bench. There are reports out of Miami that state Achane’s injury was not quite IR-worthy, but they wanted to proceed with extreme caution, considering they have positional depth, and he’s more important to them in November and beyond. Here we are. He doesn’t need 15+ touches to be worth starting, especially against a Raiders defense that gives up explosive rush plays at the league’s third-highest rate.

Devin Singletary (RB, Texans)

Fantasy is a game where opportunity, not talent, reigns supreme. While lacking in top-tier talent, Singletary has opportunity in spades in Houston’s offense right now, with Dameon Pierce slated to miss this week’s game against the Cardinals.

Brian Robinson (RB, Commanders)

As a nearly 10-point home favorite, Briant Robinson was an interesting start this week, regardless or Antonio Gibson’s status, but now that Gibson is out with a lingering toe injury, Robinson has a path to 20 touches against the punchless Giants defense.

Jayden Reed (WR, Packers)

I laid out the case for this Green Bay passing game at the top with Jordan Love, and Jayden Reed might be my favorite pass-catcher in this group. It’s a perfect spot for Christian Watson, too, and he certainly owes you if you’ve held on to him, but Reed has also been working deep and seeing more work in Green Bay’s three-receiver sets. Watson is owned in every league, but Reed may be a plug-and-play option that’s sitting on your waiver wire right now.

Rondale Moore (WR, Cardinals)

Moore saw eight targets last week in Kyler Murray’s return to action, and rookie wideout Michael Wilson popped up on the Cardinals’ injury report of Friday, which you never want to see. Moore could have some sneaky upside in this spot, especially if Wilson is limited or possibly out. (WILSON IS OUT!)

Donald Parham (TE, Chargers)

With Gerald Everett out, Parham is one of the next in line for targets in the Chargers’ tight end room. That doesn’t sound overly appealing, and Parham is not going to post a high volume of targets, but he’s so big, and big works well in the red zone.

Now for the bad news. You might have to start these guys, but if you have decent options, I’d SIT ‘EM. This is more a group of players where I’m lower than the consensus is this week:

Trevor Lawrence (QB, Jaguars)

It’s a really solid matchup for Lawrence, but the whispers about his knee are getting louder, and he may not be quite right at the moment. If you have other options, explore them.

James Cook (RB, Bills)

Cook’s passing game role leaves a lot to be desired, and he’s a non-factor at or around the goal line, so he really needs between-the-20s-volume to pay off for you. I don’t like that recipe in this spot against the Jets defense.

Gabe Davis (WR, Bills)

Working outside and deep is a death sentence against this Jets secondary. The Buccaneers game, where Davis worked in the slot a bit and saw a lower average depth of target, was a tease and has been non-existent over the past two weeks. The scale is leaning heavily to the bust side of Davis’s boom-or-bust nature.

Week 12

NO BYES NEXT WEEK!

We do have a lot of early-week action, though, because it’s Thanksgiving Week! Three Thursday games, along with a Black Friday game. Wild stuff.

Still, why wait until next week and battle your league mates on the waiver wire? Get ahead of things now.

Each league is different, as it relates to both waiver wire rules and roster depth, so it’s difficult to make recommendations, but you should be using the time before your wire closes to look ahead because most of your league mates aren’t. Jen covers more of that here.

It’s a two-way street around here. You can’t add anyone without cutting someone else, but fear not; we cover that for you here in this week’s Dead Weight Report.

Survivor Strategy

Thanks to our friends at PoolGenius, we can easily use the “holy trinity” of analysis to make educated selections each week. Hopefully, some of you are still alive and fighting in Week 11.

The Holy Trinity Explained:

  • Win odds (how likely a team is to win, especially compared to other options)

  • Pick popularity (the percentage of opponents you expect to pick that team)

  • Future value (how useful that team should be as a future week pick)

Following this methodology, the top options on the board this week are the Dolphins, Lions, Commanders, and Chargers are the best options on the board.

Of course, we cover more than just traditional fantasy at 4for4. Our DFS team is second to none, so if you’re playing on DraftKings or FanDuel, we can help.

TJ, Daigle, and weekly guest Pat Kerrane will hold your hand through lineup construction, picks, values, and weekly game theory on our DFS flagship show, DFS MVP. Subscribe so you don’t miss it.
