🔥Tuesday Morning Fantasy Football Recap

Week 10 Brought Out the Best Running Backs in Fantasy Football for 2025

If you drafted a running back in the first two rounds before the 2025 season, you’re likely very happy with their performance. Unless you built your team around Bucky Irving, running backs from the early rounds have largely smashed this season.

We can debate about Bijan Robinson getting touchdowns vultured and Derrick Henry looking older, but they are both getting massive volume. Just like 2024, this is turning into the year of the running back, and one of two of these early-round guys on your team looks like a must as we head into the playoff-defining stretch.

The Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter will hit your inbox every Tuesday morning this season, and I will bring you the highlights, waiver wire thoughts, streaming options, and injury reports, all right here in one place.

Waiver Wire Additions for Week 11

Marcus Mariota had a 73% completion rate, 213 yards, and two touchdowns in his first start with the latest Jayden Daniels injury. He now faces the Miami Dolphins, who have been a bottom-10 team against quarterbacks this season. Mariota is only about 15% rostered on many platforms, but that should rise this week.

Tyjae Spears has outplayed and outsnapped Tony Pollard in three of the last four weeks. In each of the last two games, Spears has at least seven carries and three receptions, and has over 60 yards in back-to-back games. His Week 11 opponent, Houston, is a tough one, but since the Titans are always playing from behind, Spears is getting the majority of the work.

Blake Corum has at least 13 touches in back-to-back games and played almost 40% of snaps last week for the first time this season. Considering Kyren Williams had 14 rush attempts and Corum had 13 last week, this is looking more and more like a complete timeshare in Los Angeles.

Alec Pierce is on bye this week, but his production over the last several games shows he is a must-add, even if we must wait a week. He has more than 65 yards in six of his last seven games, and had 115 yards and then 84 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. Daniel Jones can get Alec Pierce the deep ball in a way Anthony Richardson never could, and Pierce has become a key piece of the Colts’ offense.

Tez Johnson has four touchdowns in his last four games and is reaping the benefits of both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans being out with injuries. In his last three games, Johnson has 20 targets and is a dominant deep threat for Baker Mayfield right now.

Cade Otton has at least four receptions and 50 yards in four of his last five games, as he also is benefiting from the wide receiver injuries. In a back-and-forth game against New England last week, Otton saw a season-high 12 targets and caught nine of them for 82 yards. He doesn’t have a touchdown yet, but that will regress soon.

Who to Stream in Week 11

Mac Jones has a 7:2 touchdown-to-interception ratio over the last three games and is coming off a game where he threw for 313 yards and three scores against one of the toughest defenses in the league. Now the 49ers get the Arizona Cardinals, who just allowed more than 40 points to Seattle. If Brock Purdy comes back this week, you could look to pivot to someone like Davis Mills against Tennessee.

Tua Tagovailoa now has six touchdown passes in his last three games, and looks nothing like the player who had five or fewer fantasy points in Weeks 6 and 7. Now he gets the Washington Commanders’ defense, which has been the second-best fantasy matchup for quarterbacks this season. Also, this game is at home for Tagovailoa, where he typically excels.

Luke Musgrave is now the number one tight end for the Green Bay Packers and saw three targets on Monday night. That was a tough matchup, but he now gets the New York Giants, who have been one of the worst teams against the pass and against tight ends this season.

Dawson Knox will take over the starting tight end position for the Buffalo Bills if Dalton Kincaid’s hamstring injury keeps him out of Week 11. The last time Kincaid missed a game, Knox had a 77% route share in the Bills’ offense. With no reliable wide receivers on the team right now, Josh Allen could look Knox’s way often.

Fantasy Football Injuries to Monitor

Jaxson Dart was diagnosed with a concussion almost immediately after taking a big hit on a seven-yard gain in the fourth quarter of the New York Giants' loss to Chicago. He will have to enter concussion protocol this week, putting his status for Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers in doubt.

Davante Adams had another masterful game and his obligatory touchdown, but he missed some time with what Coach Sean McVay said was an oblique issue. The team seemed to think he could have come back in the game if it were closer, so his status in practice this week will need to be closely monitored.

Garrett Wilson re-injured his right knee in the third quarter on Sunday and did not return to the game. He had three targets without a catch in another horrific passing game from Justin Fields. But in a short week (Thursday Night Football), it wouldn’t be surprising if Garrett Wilson has to miss a game in Week 11.

Dalton Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter against Miami. He left with help from his team and did not return to the game. This could be anything from a minor strain to a significant, multi-week injury, so his status is one to pay close attention to this week.

Oronde Gadsden suffered a knee injury in the second half of his game against Pittsburgh and did not return to the game. He had six targets to that point, but only 13 yards before the injury took him out for good. The Chargers have plenty of offensive weapons, so expect them to be conservative with Gadsden and not push him too hard.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. scored a first-half touchdown but then hurt his shoulder at the very beginning of the third quarter on Sunday. Rodriguez has been part of a three-man committee for Washington, but now we will have to wait and see if the shoulder injury is a serious one. It did keep him out of the rest of the game, so more information should be available Monday or Tuesday.
