We’ve reached Lucky Week 13 🍀. I hope it will be a lucky one for most of you in the fantasy football realm as we are just a few weeks away from the postseason. It’s time to tighten up those rosters.

There are no byes this week in the NFL, but a six-teamer is right around the corner. This week’s waiver wire features some playable replacements.

🪖 Jeremy McNichols, RB - Commanders (1% rostered)

Both Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler sustained injuries during the Commanders’ unexpected loss to Dallas last week. McNichols has had some productive moments in 2024 and could be asked to carry the load in Week 13 if neither RB can go.

⚜️ Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Saints (25% rostered)

MVS averaged 20.1 per game in half-PPR scoring in Weeks 10 and 11 and is now back but has a low rostership thanks to the Saints’ bye week. With injuries decimating the New Orleans WR corps, he’s become that big play guy for Derek Carr.

⚡️ Gus Edwards, RB - Chargers (26% rostered)

J.K. Dobbins left last night’s game with a knee injury and if he misses time, Edwards would be a valuable fantasy asset in an offense that loves to run the rock.

🐴 Devaughn Vele, Broncos — (5% rostered)

Since Week 6, Vele is averaging 4.7 targets per game which he’s turned into 7.2 points in half-PPR scoring. Bo Nix is slinging the ball exceptionally well and the Broncos have a very favorable schedule down the stretch. The rookie is worth an add in larger formats.
