Tonight’s matchup may not be fascinating, but hopefully, this newsletter brings you some joy. I’ll give this week’s ranks, a preview of TNF, plus the happenings at 4for4.

Quarterbacks

What stands out: Rookie phenom C.J. Stroud slides out of QB1 territory down to QB14 thanks to a tough matchup with the Jets, who sit first in QB aFPA. Jordan Love and Justin Fields move up this week as potential starters.

Running Backs

What stands out: Welcome back Joe Mixon as a soft matchup with the Colts plus Jake Browning under center will likely keep him heavily involved this week. Both Travis Etienne and Raheem Mostert fall just outside the fantasy RB1 conversation as RB14 and RB13 respectively, while Derrick Henry’s concussion status lands him at RB18, for now.

Wide Receivers

What stands out: We see a decent shake-up this week in the fantasy WR room. Justin Jefferson enters the chat after watching from the sidelines since Week 5 and is joined by Deebo Samuel and D.J. Moore. Jaylen Waddle falls to WR13 and Nico Collins slides down to WR17 courtesy of the Jets secondary.

Tight Ends

What stands out: Let’s give another warm welcome to Dallas Gooedert, who’s back from a four-week IR stint due to a fractured forearm. Isaiah Likely gets a TE10 designation this week as he faces a Rams defensive unit that sits dead last in TE aFPA.
