🦸🏻Week 15 Waiver Heroes
Also who to stream this week
Last night’s contest was a doozy. Ja’Marr Chase saved me in two formats and if I didn’t already have a firstborn I’d consider naming a kid after him. Week 15 is here and hopefully, you’re still alive to keep fighting.
Thankfully bye weeks are over and it’s all systems go for the postseason. Here are some of the best waiver options if you‘re in need heading into Week 15.
🏴☠️ Sincere McCormick, RB - Raiders (16% rostered)
After back-to-back weeks with 14 and 17 touches, McCormick has emerged as the lead RB in Vegas. He saw 61% of the snaps last week and that type of workload will likely continue, however, the Raiders offense is not exactly a powerhouse and their QB is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee. If you need RB help for the playoffs, McCormick could be of assistance.
🐈⬛ Adam Thielen, WR - Panthers (54% rostered)
I’ve been talking about Thielen for several weeks both here and at 4for4, so hopefully some of you already have him on your rosters. He’s seen double-digit targets two weeks in a row and put up a 9-102 line against a stout Philly secondary last week. His fantasy playoff schedule is fairly appealing with games against Dallas, Arizona, and Tampa Bay who rank 20th, 9th, and 31st respectively in WR aFPA.
⚡️ Quentin Johnston, WR - Chargers (40% rostered)
With Ladd McConkey on the shelf last week, Jonhston found the end zone again after a two-contest drought. The Chargers have a critical matchup this week against Tampa Bay who yield the second-most in fantasy points to WR this season. If McConkey’s injuries linger, the sophomore could provide some fantasy goodness down the stretch.
⚒️ Patrick Taylor, RB - 49ers (3% rostered)
The next-man-up situation continues in the San Francisco RB room. With Christian McCaffrey, Jordan Mason, Elijah Mitchell, and now Issac Guerendo banged up, it’s Taylor’s turn to carry the rock. It’s still unclear how severe Guerendo’s foot injury is and he could suit up this week, but Taylor is someone to grab if you need RB help.
Other Waiver Wire Candidates:
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR - Saints (38%)
Jalen McMillan, WR - Buccaneers (5%)
Tank Bigsby, RB - Jaguars (46%)
Isaiah Davis, RB - Jets (11%)
Tim Patrick, WR - Lions (1%)
Juwan Johnson, TE - Saints (10%)
Brandin Cooks, WR - Cowboys (19%)
