- 🛜 Week 2 Waiver Wire
Still reeling from the weekend’s NFL drama? Yeah, me too. The show must go on and in this Tuesday's edition of the Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter, I’ll cover waiver wire adds, players to consider streaming for Week 2, and of course, the happenings over at 4for4.
JK Dobbins, RB - Chargers (50% rostered) - We knew this new Chargers’ offense would run the ball more but weren’t sure exactly how the usage would shake out. Dobbins saw 13 touches to Gus Edwards’ 12 and converted them to 139 all-purpose yards with one touchdown. It’s been one game so it’s tough to really gauge, but for now, Dobbins looks like a solid pickup in this Jim Harbaugh/Greg Roman offense.
Isaiah Likely, TE - Ravens (28% rostered) - TE was pretty gross in Week 1 but Likely stood out as the lone producer. His 21.6 half-PPR points came courtesy of a 29.3% target share and a 38.2% air-yard share. That “likely” won’t happen every week but he should be involved enough to warrant an add for those in need of TE help. (which may be everyone)
Rashid Shaheed, WR - Saints (55% rostered) - I pounded the table for Shaheed all offseason so hopefully some of you drafted the NO WR, but if not he’s still free in a little less than half of Yahoo fantasy leagues. The 26-year-old caught a 59-yard TD strike from Derek Carr in Week 1 and tied Alvin Kamara for the most targets in the Saints’ offense with five. He may not do that every week, but Shaheed’s big-play ability and usage out of the gate plant him on the radar as a waiver add.
Tank Bigsby, RB - Jaguars (5% rostered) - It may be a year late for some of us who invested heavily in his breakout last year, but it could be Bigsby time in Jacksonville. He got the ball 12 of the 17 times he was on the field against Miami (same as Travis Etienne) and posted 29 more yards than the starter. Bigsby is worth an add as he may have stand-alone value moving forward.
Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson, WR - Rams (6% & 0% rostered) - Puka Nacua us headed to the IR and will be out at least four weeks, opening the door for one or both of these guys to become the WRs in LA.

Assuming that Jordan Mason was scooped up prior to the MNF game, of course. If not, he’s a priority.
