Quarterbacks

What stands out: Anthony Richardson is expected back and slides into the No. 5 spot at home against the Rams. Jared Goff, who was ranked ninth last week falls out and down to QB18 in a tilt with Green Bay. Justin Fields returns to starting range in a hopeful get-right matchup with Denver. šŸ¤ž

Running Backs

What stands out: Joe Mixon, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Jahmyr Gibbs are all outside the Top 12, while Dā€™Andre Swift, Miles Sanders, and James Cook see a spike due to solid play and their individual matchups this week.

Wide Receivers

What stands out: CeeDee Lamb falls four spots due to a tough contest in New England, while Puka Nacuaā€™s juicy matchup against a Colts secondary yielding the fifth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs this season lands him at WR11.

Tight Ends

What stands out: Rookie Sam LaPorta jumps to TE4 as his impressive season rolls along, with fellow newbie Luke Musgrave making his first appearance in the Top 12 thanks to a soft matchup with Detroit tonight.

Staying ahead of league mates can be a difference-maker in fantasy football. Stashing players a week ahead for streaming or eventual bye-week fill-ins can give us that edge we all crave. Here are some players with either great Week 5 matchups, or theyā€™re in the position for more volume based on injuries ahead of them.

šŸŒŠ Zach Charbonnet, RB - Seahawks

Even with Kenneth Walker playing well thus far, rookie Zach Charbonnetā€™s usage has increased with each contest, going from three and four carries in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively, to nine attempts last Sunday against Carolina. Charbonnet also saw two targets in each of the last two games and was on the field for every snap during their two-minute drills. With passing volume possibly increasing, so does the rookieā€™s stand-alone value, and Seattleā€™s upcoming schedule is highly favorable for the RB position with games against the Giants, the Bengals, and the Cardinals on the horizon.

šŸ§¢ Wanā€™Dale Robinson WR - Giants

The Giants are still easing Wan'Dale Robinson back from a torn ACL he suffered last November. Itā€™s a solid sign, though, that he saw five targets on just 11 snaps and it looks like it wonā€™t be tough to emerge as the top pass-catcher in this anemic offense. Robinson is one to stash and hold if you have the bench room.

šŸŖŗ Keaton Mitchell, RB - Ravens

If youā€™re not a believer in Melvin Gordon, let me introduce you to Mitchell. An undrafted free agent out of East Carolina University, Mitchell saw reps with the first-team offense during the preseason before a shoulder injury landed him on the IR. Heā€™s fast and elusiveā€”both traits Gordon is lacking at this point in his career. Mitchell is eligible to return in Week 5 and could emerge in this triage unit of a Baltimore backfield.

A juicy NFC North battle is on the docket for TNF in Week 4 when the Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions. Both teams enter this game tonight with a 2-1 record. There are plenty of fantasy pieces in this contest so letā€™s get to it.
