šŸ„‡Week 6 Ranks

TNF Preview and Some Stashes

We have an exciting matchup on tap tonight, which means it will probably be a stinker. I hope everyone in Miltonā€™s path stays safe and that fantasy football can provide some distraction.

All rankings are based on half-PPR scoring. For full ranks in a variety of scoring formats, head to 4for4.com.

Quarterbacks

What stands out: Josh Allen falls to the No. 8 spot thanks to a date with the Jets in New York. Geno Smith is out of the fantasy QB1 conversation in Week 6 (QB13) and is replaced by Dak Prescott in what has the makings of a shootout with Detroit.

Running Backs

What stands out: There are big changes in the top spot this week as Saquon Barkley goes from out of the RB1 conversation in Week 5 to the No. 1 ranking. Kyren Williams held that rank last week and gets to relax with the rest of the Rams in Week 6.

Wide Receivers

What stands out: The top three WRs from last week are all absent from this list as Nico Collins is definitely out, Malik Nabers is likely out, and Justin Jefferson is watching from home due to his bye week. Jaā€™Marr Chase is back on top and Amon-Ra St Brown gets the No. 2 spot after the Vikings bye. Welcome back, Drake London.

Tight Ends

What stands out: Tucker Kraft is among the top 3 TEs in Week 6 while Dalton Kincaid keeps falling, now down to No. 10.

With bye weeks rolling along, here are some good stashes ahead of Week 6.

šŸ˜ˆ Ty Chandler, RB - Vikings (29% rostered) - With the Vikings on a bye this week, Chandler is likely to go unnoticed or become less of a priority for some managers. Aaron Jones suffered a hip injury during last weekā€™s contest, and he served as the lead back during three quarters against the Jets in London as a result. The extent of Jones' injury is still unknown, but Chandler is a quality stash if you can get him and hold until after the Vikings rest week.

šŸŖŗ Ray-Ray McCloud, WR - Falcons (15% rostered) - For the fourth straight contest, McCloud was on the field for almost every snap (98%). His nine targets against the Bucs were a season high which he turned into 66 yards, but the WR has yet to find the end zone in 2024. The WR3 spot in Atlanta is his, and Kirk Cousins is starting to heat up as heā€™s more removed from that Achilles injury. The Falcons face four upcoming opponents who rank 17th or worse in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs (aFPA) this season. Adding McCloud now may help as more teams have their byes in the weeks ahead.

šŸ¬ Jaylen Wright, RB - Dolphins (8% rostered) - De'Von Achane suffered a concussion on Sunday and Miami is off this week, so chances are heā€™ll be back in action against the Colts in Week 7. Wright is crazy explosive and rushed 13 times for 86 yards in Week 5, so could be worth a stash considering both guys in front of him, Acahne and Raheem Mostert, have already been banged up this season. It also doesn't hurt that four of Miamiā€™s next five opponents rank 24th or worse in aFPA to opposing backfields in 2024.

šŸŖ– Jeremy McNichols, RB - Commanders (2% rostered) - Even though both Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler were active and healthy in Week 5, McNichols carried the ball seven times for 44 yards and a touchdown. That was after a two-score performance from the 28-year-old the week before with Ekeler on the shelf due to a concussion. Washington has averaged 38 points in each of their last three games and if they keep getting up early, McNichols could have some stand-alone value. For now, though, heā€™s a stash guy in case either of the backs in front of him sustains another injury.

The Seahawks play host to NFC West rival San Francisco tonight. Plenty of fantasy pieces are involved in this one, so letā€™s find a contest to play.
