After a solid performance by Detroit and a huh from the Raiders, we have ourselves a Week 9. The show must go on and in todayā€™s edition of the Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter, Iā€™ll cover waiver wire adds, players to consider streaming this week, and of course, the happenings over at 4for4.

There are four teams watching from home this week in the NFL and sadly as usual, weā€™ve experienced a myriad of injuries that have the potential to crush your seasons. However, donā€™t fret, the waiver wire features some playable replacements ahead of Week 9.

šŸ§ˆ Demario Douglas WR, Patriots (3% rostered)

With Kendrick Bourne sidelined during the contest and DeVante Parker dealing with a head injury, Douglas saw a 77% snap share and led the team in target share with 24.1% in Week 8. He was already seeing an increase in usage and now that Bourne is out for the remainder of the season, Douglas can emerge among a weak WR corps as the Patsā€™ receiving leader.

šŸŒŠ Zach Charbonnet RB, Seahawks (42% rostered)

The rookie saw an uptick in usage last week with Ken Walker recovering from a calf injury and posted 53 yards on five carries while also catching both of his targets for an additional 11 yards. Walker is still the lead back while healthy but Charbonnet could come on as the season progresses.

āšœļø Rashid Shaheed WR, Saints (36% rostered)

Shaheed did some serious damage in Week 8 on just three targets, notching 153 receiving yards and a touchdown. Heā€™s become the Saints big-play guy but is tough to count on from week to week. With more byes on the way and plenty of injuries, grabbing Shaheed now as a fill-in could be a difference-maker down the stretch.

šŸŖŗ Trey McBride TE, Cardinals (20% rostered)

With Zach Ertz on the IR and Kyler Murray possibly back either this week or next, McBride is in a great spot to produce for at least the next three weeks but likely beyond. The rookie saw a whopping 14 targets in his first week as a starter, and in a dry TE climate, heā€™s as good as it gets for waiver wire options.
