Welcome to Thursday’s edition of the Deep Dive Fantasy Newsletter, where I’ll take a look at the fantasy marketplace, preview a bet for the TNF matchup, and, of course, share the happenings over at 4for4.

Buys

🪺 RB Derrick Henry, Ravens - The production hasn’t been there since Week 1, and the Ravens are clearly struggling on offense right now. Their schedule opens up after the Week 7 bye, with game scripts likely favoring Henry, and Lamar Jackson should be back on the field. You can probably get him for cheap, like a low-end WR2 such as Marvin Harrison Jr. or Quentin Johnston.

🐈‍⬛ WR Tetairoa McMillan, Panthers - The rookie has not lived up to expectations thus far, as he’s the WR32, with just 9.4 in half-PPR scoring per contest through five weeks. While the touchdowns are not here yet, the volume is, as McMillan saw eight targets last week, which was twice the amount of anyone else on the team. Once he and Bryce Young begin connecting in the end zone, he has fantasy WR1 potential and could likely be acquired very inexpensively right now.

 😈 RB Jordan Mason, Vikings - He was saved by a touchdown last week against the Browns, but otherwise, Mason has just 56 total yards and a fumble. He’s had three other OK contests and one solid outing, and is now on a bye week. The volume is there, so grab him now while he’s off, likely at a discounted price.

Sells

 🧀 WR Romeo Doubs, Packers - Coming off a three-TD outing (before his bye), Doubs is a great player to sell. Yes, he’s had four TDs in his last three contests, but he hasn't eclipsed 68 yards and only has one game with more than three receptions. The Green Bay WR has already matched his TD total from last season, and Christian Watson could return in Week 7.

 🐈‍⬛ RB Rico Dowdle, Panthers - Now is the puurfect time to deal Dowdle, coming off a career game as the lead back due to a calf injury to Chuba Hubbard. (Sorry, I know that was bad.) Hubbard is not hitting the IR, so it’s looking like a short-term thing, which means a split/committee at the very best for Dowdle. Sell him to an RB-needy manager for more stability.
